The hard cover is a pastel yellow with white speckle's (the photo does not show the yellow at its best it is a bit brighter than the photo shows. 

some of the pictures show  "swipe marks"  like on page 19 and last page 20, these are shadows the plastic insert reflects off the camera flash the paper inserts are not faded or damaged and do not show those same spots that the camera does.
