This Humidor was made from a Cherry Log that was acquired from trees that were removed due to natural old age or storm damage locally. I cut the log to a manageable size then slice into boards and cure in my wood kiln. After it comes out of the Kiln and is dry I then finish the boards so they are perfectly sized, shaped and smooth. I then proceed to transform the boards into the beautiful custom Humidor. This wood has some amazing natural features that I believe is because this is old growth lumber. The trees are not commercially grown for lumber but are old trees usually 50 years or older that were taken down due to storm damage or age issues so it has so much more character than normal lumber. Using this type of wood and leaving all the perfectly beautiful imperfections that come about from years of growth and struggles to survive as well as natural minerals in the area gives the wood all these amazing colors and patterns, for this reason we choose to let these details shine and leave them as they are for everyone to enjoy. These details also make each piece unique and one of a kind made from natures beauty. This piece also has my own custom stain mix that allows the patterns and color of the wood to shine through while also complimenting it.

Great care was taken to ensure the inside lining of Spanish Cedar helps maintain proper humidity to protect their prized and beloved Cigar collection. Also included is a removable ventilated tray and dividers so that any type or size of cigars can be kept inside safely. The inside lid has 2 custom compartments allowing the choice of using humidifiers or
Boveda Packets.

The Humidor is unfinished inside so the Spanish Cedar can do its job with Humidity control. The exterior is finished with several coats of clear finish to show the beauty of the hardwood.
