This is a Bottlehead BeePre that uses 300B twin triodes, it is an excellent preamplifier that comes in a kit from Bottlehead, located in Poulsbo, WA. I built this Bottlehead Preamplifier in June of 2020 and have used it for over 3 1/2 years in my main audio system. With the BeePre kit, I also purchased the "BeeQuiet Attenuator Upgrade. My cost back then with sales tax came to a total of $1826.25. I have the receipt that will come with the sale of the unit.

I am a friend of the chief electronics technician of Bottlehead, who lives near me, and he has been helpful to me, including providing me with the German Oil capacitors which he recommended for the unit. (They are the maroon rectangular devices seen in the photos.)
This preamplifier is in perfect working order and the tubes all test excellent on my Dan Nelson calibrated TV-7/U tester.
I am proud of this unit and I will be more than happy to demo it to you prior to the sale.
He also suggested I include a pair of Rothwell In-Line Attenuators with the sale as these can be used with a system that has a high gain amplifier and highly sensitive speakers. These transparent audiophile devices can be used to reduce gain of pre/power amp combos to give better control of volume at low listening levels and improve signal to noise ratios.

The system in the photo with the BeePre amplifier shows a couple of mono-block "Single Ended" 300B tube amplifiers that I built in 2019. These amps are modeled after the 40's era Western Electric 91A amplifier that was used in theatres back in the day. I am still using these amps currently. The turntable seen is one I built using a Teres acrylic platter with 25 lbs of lead shot in it. I made the base from a single piece of bubinga hardwood. It currently has a "Pete Riggle Woody Tonearm" on it. Pete lives in the Tri-Cities in Eastern Washington.

I have been into audio gear in the Seattle area since the early 70's. I have been Analog now for many years. I have included a picture of a boat I used to own named "Analog".  I worked at Electricraft Stereo for a couple of years and then moved to Magnolia HiFi. When the Roosevelt store was completed, I took over as manager of the Magnolia Store. This was in 1974/75 time frame. I first got interested in tube audio when we had a McIntosh clinic at my store in Magnolia. I got to watch Dave O'Brien check out McIntosh MC275s and MC240s and replace tubes as needed. He would always put a small metallic sticker on the side of the amplifier with his initials "DOB". Some of you will know what I am talking about.
My point is I am an audiophile and I make changes to my system every few years ... because that is what audiophiles do!
In the photos I will show some of the last versions of preamplifiers I have used including a McIntosh MC20 tube preamplifier, and an HH Scott 130 tube preamplifier. The amplifier seen in these photos of past systems is a previous "push pull" 300B amp I had.

I will ship to anywhere in the continental USA by FEDEX ground for actual shipping cost. For International buyers, I will use the Ebay Global Shipping Program where I ship to their location in Erlanger, Kentucky and they handle all paperwork and ship to you.
