Malachite pseudomorph after Azurite

Bisbee, Cochise County, Arizona, USA

3.5cm x 2.7cm x 2.25cm

Ex. Colin Manlove Collection

Description/Interesting Notes:

An outstanding example of malachite after azurite from this classic Arizona locale!!! This specimen consists of a showy cluster of sharply defined azurite crystals that have been completely replaced by rich green malachite!!! The crystals are unusually sharp and fine!!! There is a small amount of botryoidal malachite scattered about as well!!! Classic, old time material!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!! Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!!
