Retired James Avery Sterling Silver Widow's Mite Pendant & Chain

Theme: Widows mite. This is from a Bible story that describes two "mites" that a poor widow gives to the Temple church in Jerusalem. The Mite was the smallest denomination coin in ancient Judea. The pendant is a replica of that coin.

100% sterling silver 925.

Total weight: 13 grams.

Pendant circumference: .65 in (approx.)

Pendant weight: 3.4 grams.

Chain length: 28".

Chain weight: 9.7 grams.

Closure: Lobster claw.

This pendant is a retired style. It is evidently rare.

Note that this item includes the original James Avery silver chain that came with the pendant. This was found among my aunt's things in its original felt bag, James Avery box and gift bag. I suspect it was never worn.
