VINTAGE WOLFY Ideal Mini-Monster Doll, Super Rare, Eddie Munster, 1965, Remco!

Here we are offering one of the unbelieveably rare, Ideal Mini Monster Dolls circa 1965. This listing is for the WOLFY (Wolfie) doll in very nice condition. WOLFY comes with with his original shirt and pants, a reproduction hat and shoes which may or may not be original, but they fit just fine. The elastic on his pants has worn a bit but the pants stay on, just fall a bit from time to time if played with. Simple solution would be to just add a rubber band around the top of the pants and it should stay in place. In our pictures, we have not added a rubber band and you can see it stayed in place right, the pants stay up when standing for the most part but do drop down from time to time. Minor but wanted to mention it.

History behind this rare doll:

The original Ideal Mini-Monster set included VAMPY, DRACKY, FRANKY and WOLFY dolls. are, vampy, dracky, franky and wolfy. These dolls became known as Mini Munsters but they were NOT sold as part of the television series of the same name. They are approximately 8-9 inches tall. From doing research, Ideal was trying to get approval from "The Munster" producers and actually put these dolls out in the market without that approval. However, we believe those produced were pulled from the market since licensing for these dolls from The Munsters was never granted. Very hard to find and sought after by collectors.
