SUNDAY QUARTER PAGE COMIC STRIP

The BEST SELLER SHOWCASE comic strip was in print from

 August 1977 to August 1978.  This strip, scripted by Elliot Caplin 

and illustrated Frank Bolle and Gray Morrow, adapted current best sellers

 into eight-week storylines.   Included among the novels adapted were:

RAISE THE TITANIC! by Clive Cussler

STORM WARNING by Jack Higgins

THE CHANCELLOR MANUSCRIPT by Robert Ludlum

 THE SWORD OF SHANNARA by Terry Brooks

THE SECOND DEADLY SIN by Lawrence Sanders

 ILLUSIONS by Richard Bach

ALL THINGS BRIGHT AND BEAUTIFUL by James Herriot 

doing the scripting. In January 2019, Jonathan Lemon assumed

 art duties with writer Joey Alison Sayers scripting.
