8 original Christmas songs recorded in a lo-fi manner with acoustic instruments give this music the timeless appeal of an intimate, handmade present and an alternative to traditional carols. In keeping with the Bent Willow tradition this recording is an eclectic mix of textures, sometimes sparse and haunting and at other times rich and full. There is an obvious novelty twist to this recording, however it may not be appropriate for children. These songs mention mistletoe, snow, pretty trees, loved ones, parties, shopping, booze, holiday depression and hanky panky.
