Aloha, kanes and wahines!  I've been collecting tiki stuff since around 1990.  It's time to start thinning out the collection.  I'm starting with the smaller stuff and will work my way up to the super-rare and more impressive items over the course of 2021 and 2022.  Please keep checking back for new listings (and also, a gigantic Star Wars collection that I'm selling in tandem with the tikis).

Please zoom in to the photos and examine items closely.  Most of the stuff is in nice shape, but everything is sold as-is.

Shipping charges for all items are exact USPS or UPS prices, I don't inflate them or assess a handling charge.  Happy to combine shipping on multiple orders. Local pick-up is great too, and you're welcome to preview future items not listed yet!

This auction is for a new and unworn t-shirt from TIKI
TERRACE, in the suburbs of Chicago, IL.  Miss Tiki Terrace 2007 is pictured on the back, and the Tiki Terrace logo and a cocktail umbrella are featured on the left breast of the front.  The shirt is a very dark navy blue.

Guaranteed never worn.  Sorry about all the wrinkles; this has been safely stored in a box of t-shirts for more than a decade!  Give it a wash to smooth it out and freshen it up and you should be good to go.

100% of the proceeds from ALL of my auctions will go toward paying medical debt for a disadvantaged household.

Tiki Road Trip says: "Tiki Terrace was created by the brothers Zuziak - Scott, Phil, and Jim. Scott and Phil are champion fire knife performers, placing as finalists in international competitions in 2001 through 2004. All three brothers often work with Barefoot Hawaiian, and also masterminded Fires of Polynesia, a mobile floor show that featured fire knife, Polynesian dance, and live music on a huge custom built stage set. Dreaming of opening their own restaurant, their hard work became reality on November 8, 2005 with the opening of their Prospect Heights paradise.

Tiki Terrace is an intimate restaurant with two small rooms, a bar, a stage, and Kapa Nui Kove, an excellent private hut for VIPs. The wait staff (both men and women) are all performers, and will break out in traditional Tahitian dance at various points in the evening. Entertainment on the stage ranges from ukulele virtuoso Jake Shimabukuro to Gwen Kennedy and the Barefoot Hawaiian dancers, to open uke jams. Because of the Zuziak brothers’ performance background and their ties to Barefoot Hawaiian, Tiki Terrace has became a meeting place for the local islander population in the Chicago suburbs. The Aloha spirit is palpable, and things are always friendly and cheerful.

The TiPSY Factor in Tiki Terrace is terrific, with a mixture of wood carvings (such as those by Milwaukee’s Lake Tiki) and Fiberglas creations made by the Zuziaks themselves. A bit of Oceanic Arts work rounds out the vibe.

Tiki Terrace serves great food in a style not unlike what you might find in Honolulu. With names like Kilauea Shrimp, Malahini Salad, and Coco Palms Pasta, you know what you’re in for right away. Entrees are reasonably priced, with most being in the $9 to $12 range; sandwiches are a bit less. Islander favorites like Loco Moco and Spam Burgers add to the flavor of Hawai’i sought by the brothers.

While Jim runs the kitchen and Scott handles the business, Phil can often be found behind the bar, honing his nascent mixology skills. Like most other modern Tiki restaurants, the drink menu consists of a mixture of classic recipes (Zombie, Missionary’s Downfall) and Tiki Terrace originals (try the Tiki Tantrum), all served in Tiki mugs. We also like seeing rarely served classics like Tortuga and Polynesian Spell on the menu. All are a bargain at $6.25.

A great vibe created by a great staff serving great food make any restaurant worth a visit. The high TiPSY factor and variety of entertainment make a visit to Tiki Terrace a must. Please note that the Tiki Terrace plans to move to a larger location in 2007, so Tiki road trippers will want to make sure they call ahead to get the current address."
