Kodak Medalist c'1941
620 roll film camera yielding eight 2 1/4 x 3 1/4 inch (6x9cm) images

This is the original 1941 model, not the post war model that added lens coating to the 100mm F3.5 Ektar lens and Flash Sync to the B, 1-1/400 second 5 blade Supermatic shutter, but lost the self timer and focusing knob present on the original.

Cosmetics excellent with no dings or dents. Focusing is stiff needing cleaning  and or lubrication but is  precise through the  coupled rangefinder that is clear enough for use but could stand cleaning.  Viewfinder is bright and clear. The shutter fires at all speeds.  The slow speeds below 1/25 need servicing. The fast speeds work but have not been tested for accuracy.  The self timer appears to work as does the film stop, double exposure prevention and counter. The lens is clean and fungus free, the diaphragm stiff but the blades are oil free.  The camera back hinges work as they should.

Please note this camera is approximately 83 years old, though it could be a year or 2 younger as production continued during World War II and was stopped post war when the Model 2 was released.  I believe I have accurately described it's condition and suggest it needs servicing.  Please read the condition description carefully if you consider purchasing the camera as I do not accept returns.
