Very rare piece from a private collection, attributed to JEAN ADRIEN PHILIPPE.
It is a watch measuring 4.2 cm. Jean Adrien Phillipe, patented the first Crown winding system in 1845, an innovation that has lasted to this day, and forever changed the world of watchmaking. Philippe also received the gold medal at the Universal Exhibition in Paris, for his revolutionary system of winding without a key, that is, by crown. That same year, Philippe joins Patek 6 Cie. Between Philippe's talent as a watchmaker and Antoine de Norber Patek's talent as a man of business and a taste for excellence, Patek Philippe & Cie was born, with great success that continues to this day. 
This fascinating piece is signed on the dial Philippe Horloger Fab. Palais Royal 66-67.

The metal case is in very good condition, fully worked and with the letter L on the back.This watch  is manually set by hand with your fingers.

The  movement is working, revised and cleaned by our watchmaker.Is signed S. Marx & Fils Sebastopol Paris.
