J Verhagen & Co German Antique Calendar Pocket Watch that was produced in Cologne c1900.
This type of watch is called Double Face, as it has two dials, one with the common indications (hours and minutes and in this case, the phases of the moon), and another with the day of the month, day of the week and the month, fantastic.
It is a watch that measures 5.3 cm in diameter, a LARGE size.

The face of the watch is adorned with a stylish white enamel dial with a Roman numeral surround and a subsidiary dial with a blued spade hand finish. The reverse has an unusual adjustable calendar. The centre of the front face is complete with its moon phase dial. Both the front and reverse glass are in excellent condition just a small fine hairline between 7 and 8 o'clock Please see photos as these are part of the description.
