U-Boat "U-3" Submarine

 Kaiserliche Marine - Imperial German Navy.

The "U-3" was the third U-boat built for the Imperial Navy and commissioned in 1909. Used as a training boat during WW1, the "U3" was surrendered to the British in December 1918. It was being towed to Preston for breaking up when it foundered; its wreck has not been positively located.
