For sale here is a car set of NEW longer handbrake cable levers for the Triumph TR3 through to TR6 which use both the 10 inch and 9 inch Girling rear brake assembly.

There levers are 20mm longer than standard and therefore give more leverage on the wheel cylinder when you pull the handbrake on, making the application of the rear brake stronger and / or with less effort depending on how you see it.

As used on my rally TR4 BST82B and precision manufactured in the UK from quality stainless steel, cut so that they properly fit the Girling (and reproduction) wheel cylinder assemblies (510942) and the stainless engagement pins are shrunk and pressed into place so that they cannot detach and there are no extended separate parts to fail - Reliability built in.

You are bidding on one pair of levers as shown in the pictures. As per the OE items are not handed and these replace OE part no 505088.

Please note - the standard clevis pin is too weedy and will bend with the additional ‘pull’ on the cable, so these require and are drilled for 8mm diameter clevis pins, which means that you also need to drill the cable attachment to suit. You will also need to slacken off the wheel cylinder to remove the standard part 505088 and fit these replacements.
