Thanks for checking out my auction for this vintage Lionel Train Set! My parents bought this fantastic train set for me in 1964 from a train collector. I don't know when he would have bought it or the age of the set, but I'm sure the collectors looking at this auction already know exactly how old it is. 

Although this set worked well when I played with it through the late 70s, it has not been used in decades and nothing has been tested.  

Included:
 - Engine 637 O Gauge / O27 with smoke (included are a bottle of smoke tablets and the plunger)

 - 2046W Tender with whistle

 - 6475 Pickle Car

 - 6361 Timber Transport Car

 - 3330 Commando Submarine Transport Car - Submarine is not included. 
(OK, now this is why you don't let little kids play with toys that will become collectable. I wish I could find the submarine. I played with it all the time until the propellor mechanism broke. All that was left in the box were a few parts of the internal workings of the submarine and I fear the submarine itself fell victim to my dad's clearing out my room when I finished college and he reclaimed my room for his office)

 - Original Boxes (except for the box for 3330 Commando Submarine Car)

 - Smoke tablets and plunger for the locomotive

Since I have no way to test any part of this set, I am selling it AS IS.

I am letting the auction run the full time so as many people as possible see it. I'm pretty sentimental about this train set and I'm not really concerned what it ends up selling for - I'd just like to see it end up with a person who is really interested in it.
