Here we have a stunning, monumental, American art glass vase by the completely self-taught, master craftsman, Charles Lotton (1935-2021) whose works are highly sought after by collectors today. Lotton Art Glass Gallery and Studios (Crete, Illinois) remain open today showcasing the works of his sons, but his work is no longer available for sale. This gorgeous wide-shoulder Cypriot vase features a pink iris Multi-Flora pattern with an elegant oxblood red rolled lip and interior. The bottom is etched with Charles' signature and the date of creation (2015) as well as with the name of the Line (Multi-Flora.) Stands an impressive 9" in height, and weighs 4.5 pounds.

We have other Charles Lotton pieces in our store -- see the last two photos showing all four we have available -- to which we add new inventory daily, and although we're usually happy to combine shipping at actual cost, each Lotton piece must ship separately due to its high value. And, to be clear, this listing is for the single vase shown in all of the photos in which just the one vase appears.

Approximate Measurements: Height: 9"; Mouth diameter: 5.5"; Diameter at widest point of vase: 8"

ConditionOur photographs reveal the condition best -- please enlarge and zoom in on them, and examine them carefully. Overall minty condition, with no chips or cracks of any size, and no other flaws noted. No signs of having been used as a water-filled or dry vase -- no scratches, cloudiness, hard water lines, stains, etc. Very clean and fresh piece, will arrive ready for display. Smooth, bright and shiny, with exceptional color.

Shipping: The insurance costs alone on this package are absurdly high, and the value requires the use of shipping services with which Ebay hasn't negotiated reduced rates because none of those shippers will insure over $1,000. This piece ships only to the lower 48 states and to those nations eBay international shipping service allows. No shipping to post office boxes, US protectorates, Hawaii, Alaska, or any nation to which eBay won't ship.

We consider funky odors (cigarette smoke, mildew, etc) to be an important part of a condition report. Corndogcache is a 100% non-smoking environment, and we'll let you know if any of our vintage items smell like it (or anything else) from activities they may have been involved in before they came to us.
