******** I do not see any words that say silverplate or quadruple plate the only thing I see are some numbers ….. 2206 **************

Today I have for you an estate fresh antique/vintage cruet set looks to be silver-plated but the only marking I find is the number 2206 I’m not familiar with that and I discovered with a magnifying glass and a dab of polish on my finger a makers mark that reads “ Meriden B. Company” the B stands for Britannia they have quite a interesting company history , Google them . The overall look is very beautiful and all the bottles match but there is one that has an incorrect top ( taller one with pierced hole top) , the one container with a hinged top has a slight issue with the hinge but still seems to operate correctly , there are the usual small chips from use , the glass stoppers on the two bottles (with the stoppers) are two different cuts /designs but both fit very well , the metal holder is great condition from what I can see but could use a good polishing . Please look at all photos I’ve provided carefully and please feel free to ask any questions since this is an antique/vintage piece which are never perfect and are sold as is where is . Thank you for stopping by to take a look 😃
