This pretty navy blue satin and lace dress was made by Young Viewpoint for the Meier & Frank Department store, most likely in the late 1940s-1950s. It has a square neckline with pleats at the side that become a collar in the front and end in points in the back, and a lace overlay on the skirt. Dolman sleeves. Zipper up the side. There are loops for a belt at the waist seam.
No size tag, but it fits like a modern size 10 at the waist. Fitted at the waist, looser in the top. See measurements below.
