So this is a 79? Dodge, used to be a camper but the back was rotten, just under 60k and what might well be a complete service history. I have the v5 and It's registered as a 5.2 litre, which I believe is the standard 320ci engine for these model vans, I think this was a mistake made when it was imported, this has the 360ci, 5.9l engine with a mild cam and 4 barrel carb, from the clubman? or sportsman? version, can't remember which, It does seem completely original to the vehicle.
Tax and MOT exempt due to age.
Really it should have dually wheels all round, at some point someone got these chromed steel singles.
This is basically an old American transit, 3.5t dual chassis cab, but with a 5.9 V8, tax and MOT exempt so an affordable second vehicle, maybe towing the show car? Would be a good rat rod base as it's basically body on frame. Or maybe just doing donuts on the weekly tip run! The 360 runs at barely 8 to 1, so plenty of room for boost if that's your thing!
I got a set of "70s looking seats, will just about fit 3 across, I have a carb rebuild kit, a new hi power electronic ignition replacement, all the glass with rubbers for the reordering, front lights are all there, dash and interior not great but complete enough to start from
I haven't been able to get it as far along as I wanted to before I've had to move it out of the workshop to do other things, so I've just pulled it all out and wrapped it up in a tarpaulin.
