Viewpoint on shipping costs : When you sell an item on ebay for a given price, it's "off the shelf", that means that's the price if someone came to my house and took the item and gave me the amount of the sale. If the buyer doesn't come to my home but asks me to send it, it seems normal to me that the shipping costs should not only be what THE POST OFFICE is going to ask me but also all that it costs me to make a package (cad paper, scotch and others, plus the time I spend there, plus the fact that I have to go to THE POST OFFICE with my vehicle, wait, and finally send it. All this because the buyer doesn't come to me. I will also be able to "integrate" all that I have just described in the price of the object itself, this is not my way of doing things, and it allows me to have a fairer selling price, just in case there is a hand-delivery. I am not a professional, I am a private individual who sells (reluctantly) what he has accumulated in his collection. This is my point of view, and I think it is understandable. If you don't agree, I understand it very well, this is a democracy. But in that case, don't bid, no one is forcing you to bid, don't waste your time and mine. |
