This aluminum hand-wound surveyors engineer rule case is a must-have for any professional or DIY enthusiast. Measuring 7.5 inches in width, it is designed to hold 5/8 to 3/4 inch tape measures. The case is made of high-quality aluminum, making it durable and long-lasting. Its compact size and lightweight design make it easy to carry around with a leather strap for your hand, while the hand-wound feature ensures accurate and reliable measurements. Whether you're a surveyor, engineer, or DIY enthusiast, this tape measure case is a valuable addition to your toolkit.

Made of aluminum with the exception of 4 steel screws and a pin holding the pivoting handle in place. It weighs 770 grams without a tape installed.

The length of tape it will hold will depend on the thickness of the tape to fill it with. I've seen smaller units than this one with 40 meter tapes.

As shown in the photos there is a piece of fiberglass measuring tape with a brass hook for attaching your measuring tape to it, for ease of setting up this tool. You then place your hand inside the leather strap, over the palm of your hand, facing in, and wind the tape onto the reel. With the large winder you can quickly wind up the tape measure after use. You can then fold the winder handle, storing it in the notch, preventing it coming unwound during storage.

Build of high quality materials it is sure to last a lifetime.
