The main heating is from an Alde central heating unit powered by gas or mains electricity. It has three separate zones  Surrounding living area, Underfloor and bedroom/garage. A heat exchange system allows the engine cooling fluid to heat the central heating and domestic hot water. In addition there is a Webasto diesel heater. 

It is worth  noting this vehicle comes with a Telma electromagnetic retarder fitted to the drive shaft. This is not only a safety feature it enables a great reduction to brake use and wear.
