A lovely vintage strong box made by Chubb and Sons.

This is made of black metal, with handles on the two ends.  The lid opens to reveal the heavy and robust lock mechanism.  The Chubb & Sons Ltd name, coat of arms and their address in London is printed on this.

Coloured a matt black, the inside of the box is in good overall condition.  The outside is more worn as you would expect - please look at pictures - but solid.

 

Sadly there is no key.  The box measures 31.5cm x 21.5cm with a height of 10cm.
