The book is full leather. There was a bookplate attached inside the front cover that has been removed and left some residue. 

This book is in near mint condition with no wear. 

The gold on the covers looks like new.

The end pages show no fading.

The gilt on the edge of the pages is in almost perfect condition with tiny scratches on the side and some shelf wear to the gilt on the bottom outside edge.
