DATING TO THE 1920’S
THIS PIECE WAS ACQUIRED FROM A MUSEUM DEACCESSION AND IS FASHIONED OF A HAND WOVEN OFF WHITE LACE WITH LARGE SUNBURST PATTERN IN CENTER REAR WITH BAT DETAILS IN THE LACE.
THE INTERIOR FABRIC IS A SLEEK RAYON THAT IS LIGHT TEAL IN COLOR. NO CLOSURES TO THE FRONT BUT I PERSONALLY ADD CLOSURES AS IT IS VERY SLIPPERY WHEN WORN.
CONDITION: THE ONLY FLAW IS THAT THERE ARE SOME SMALL NEEDLE CATCHES TO THE FRONT SATIN AT THE POINT OF CLOSURE, MOST LIKELY WORN WITH A BROACH TO CLOSE.
IN CLEAN CONDITON WITH NO STAINING. A VERY BEAUTIFUL FLAPPER 1920’S PIECE.
