This is a rare and sought-after Cold Steel knife, with a blade made of high-quality Cold Steel's 400 Series stainless steel. The blade is 8-3/4" long and has a plain edge, with a "raised spine" for added durability. The handle is made of both Cold Steel's 300 Series stainless steel for guard and pommel and Kraton™ for the grip, making it sturdy and comfortable to hold.
This knife comes with a leather sheath, also made in Japan, that includes a velcroed keeper strap and a belt loop. This early version knife was made in Japan in 1988 and is an original piece.
