House clearance find VERTEX WWW Dirty Dozen Watch Belonged To Major I.R.Courtney With the Major Personal Items placed inside the beautifully carved wooden box.

The Watch is in very good condition working and keeping good vintage time. (It is unknown when the watch has been serviced)

The watch case number and lug number are matching.

The glass has a tiny chip. The watch comes with the authentic original period leather strap.

If you check closely In the photo the Major is wearing a black dial watch and I believe that he’s wearing this one Vertex watch.

The box contains 5 medals, Military Identity Card, personal photo, Railway Ticket dated 14 Jan. 1945, Cap, badge, Iron Cross and Vertex watch.
