I'm finally beginning to sell my huge collection of vintage 25mm wargame figures, which I'm I've been auditing, identifying and organising chronologically. I've got over 300 Assyrians to sell in total, making up a formidable force!

This batch contains slingers, infantry and command troops: a combination of Garrison, Minifigs S Range and Hinchliffe models.

Figure codes:

SLINGERS (28)
24 x Minifigs S Range AA6s - Assyrian heavy slinger (13 unpainted)
4 x Hinchliffe AA3 - Light Infantry slinger (unpainted)

INFANTRY 02 (22)
22 x Hinchliffe AA2 - Heavy infantry advancing (12 unpainted)

COMMAND (11)
8 x Minifigs S Range AA1s - Assyrian officer (5 unpainted)
2 x Hinchliffe AA7 - Assyrian Officer (1 unpainted)
1 x Hinchliffe AA2 - Heavy Infantry advancing (found after I'd audited the above!)

COMMAND - Garrison (10)
5 x Garrison A1 - Officer armoured with sword (one original sculpt; 3 unpainted)
5 x Garrison A4 - Standard bearer (one original sculpt; 3 unpainted)

Be sure to check out all the other Assyrian troops I'm selling separately.

Next up will be Persians and Greeks. And there are a -lot- of both.

========

Please note: the figures are exactly as seen in the pictures, and they are genuinely vintage – and have been fought with many times! The vast majority of my figures have all limbs and weapons attached, and I haven’t noted individual figures which may have a broken spear, etc, but check the images for soldiers who are showing signs of authentic battle damage.

I will include wire spears where appropriate and possible (until, as they say, stocks run out).

Scale-wise, I’ve listed everything as 25mm (as per catalogues), but the older figures – particularly the classic Minifigs S Range – are definitely smaller (though still fitting with their later and slightly larger brethren). Heroic scale was a thing yet to arrive in those days!

All the painting was done in period, so the quality and style reflects that. Some are better than others, but to be honest the simpler style matches the spirit of these figures, I think.

The quantities and figure codes in the listings are as accurate as I could be: I’ve spent a lot of time and care going through old catalogues to try and make sure I can ID as much as possible, but mistakes and omissions may occur.

Basically, the photos are the adjudicators of truth! The number of figures shown will always be a minimum: as I’m going through my collection, there has been the odd figure that’s slipped into the wrong era’s drawer. As I find any like that, I’m putting them in the right places, so sometimes you may actually get a bonus figure! Win!

Also, shipping: if you’re generous enough to want to buy more than one of my batches of figures, then of course I’ll combine shipping and refund you the difference.
