Silver plated vesta box dated 1908

A very nice example of a vesta box, silver plated with leaf design decoration and a shield in the middle with the intials F.L. and the date 1908. This makes it a very nice early 20^th century or  Edwardian item. The spring on the lid is in excellent condition keeping it shut. It has a small ring on the top to either hook onto a chain or a ladies chatelaine. It measures 5.5cm x 4cm.

 It has several non-safety matches inside it, they have blue striking heads and they actually work (yes, I tried one and it lit)
