Bundle of 12x vintage Monsters In My Pockets (MIMP), from Series 7, Space Aliens. Super collectable rubber toys from the early 90s, in bright neon colours.
Here is a full list of which Monsters are included, as well as their colours. Some may be rare, not sure!
- 1x Space Dinosaur (#169) in pink - is the first monster in Series 7. With a points value of 500, it is one of the most powerfully rated monsters in the range, and is leader of the good Aliens. In appearance it is an armoured dinosaur, somewhat similar to a Tyrannosaurus Rex, wielding a ray gun.
- 1x Blaster of the Universe (#171) in blue - part of Series 7. One of the good Aliens, he has a points value of 275. In appearance, Blaster is a long-armed, muscular humanoid, wielding guns and dressed in a loincloth. The character seems to be strongly based on He-Man. He was included in the Lunar Battle Scene display on the Space Aliens packaging, coloured with bright pink skin. Note: this is the blue model - could be rare?
- 1x Full Moon Freak (#172) in green - part of Series 7, Space Aliens. One of the good Aliens, it has a points value of 250. In appearance, the Freak is a bipedal creature with four arms, and a roughly reptilian face.
- 1x Nova Scorcher (#173) in pink - part of Series 7, the Space Aliens. One of the good Aliens, it has a points value of 225. In appearance, Nova Scorcher is a humanoid with flaming skin, armed with a ray gun.
- 1x Jumbo Jupiter Junkeater (#174) in pink - part of Series 7, the Space Aliens. One of the good Aliens, it has a points value of 200. In appearance, the Junkeater is a vaguely humanoid creature with long arms and stumpy legs. It has a small head with eyes on the end, while its huge mouth is in its belly, forming a hole right through the figure. A large illustration of the monster featured on the reverse of the Space Aliens packaging, giving him orange skin and a red tongue. Note: not pictured within main shot
- 1x Laser Blaster (#175) in blue - part of Series 7. One of the good Aliens, it has a points value of 175. In appearance, Laser Blaster is a humanoid robot with enormous gun barrels for arms, in an aggressive stance. He appears to have been named after the Laser Cannon in Space Invaders. He appeared in the Lunar Battle Scene display on the Space Aliens packaging, coloured silver.
- 1x Asteroid Attack Android (#176) in green - part of Series 7. One of the good Aliens, it has a points value of 150 points - one of the lowest rated of the Space Aliens, but still more powerful than the majority of monsters in the range. Asteroid Attack Android's appearance is of a well-armed humanoid robot, wielding two guns, with swords sheathed to its back.
- 1x Venus Booby Trapper (#177) in pink - part of Series 7. The leader of the bad Aliens, the Trapper has a points value of 500, making it one of the most powerfully rated monsters in the range. In appearance, the Venus Booby Trapper is a monstrous plant, with fronds forming its base and two tentacle-like upper limbs. It has a large head with tiny eyes and a mouth full of teeth. It is wearing some kind of weapons belt, looking something like a life preserver. The monster appears both in the Space Aliens logo, and in the Lunar Battle Scene display on the packaging, and is coloured green with its weapons belt in pink. Note: this is the pink model - could be rare?
- 1x Meteor Monster (#179) in green - part of Series 7. One of the bad Aliens, it has a points value of 275. In appearance, Meteor Monster is a bipedal creature with four arms. In its upper left hand it holds a dagger; in its upper right, a spherical object, perhaps a meteor. The creature has three heads, each with a single eye.
- 1x Sun Poisoner (#182) in blue - part of Series 7,. One of the bad Aliens, it has a points value of 200. In appearance, Sun Poisoner is a demonic biped, with clawed hands and feet, bat-wing extensions on its arms, and a spiky, clubbed tail.
- 1x Martian Maniac (#183) in green - part of Series 7. One of the bad Aliens, it has a points value of 175. In appearance, Martian Maniac is a tripedal creaure with a humanoid torso. Its head is upside-down, and it holds some kind of weapon in one of its three-fingered hands.
- 1x Radioactive Uranian Rodent (#184) in blue - the final monster of Series 7. One of the bad Aliens, it has a points value of 150; one of the lowest rated of the Aliens, but still more powerful than the majority of monsters in the range. In appearance, the monster has a cuboid body with muscular arms and legs. A vicious-looking head sprouts from the centre of its body, while another, smaller creature grows from the top. This little attachment wields a knife. The monster looks nothing like a rodent.
Note: these have been up in the loft for some time, and have not been washed so some are a little dirty. The price reflects this.
