There are several but rather large, and visible, brown stains near the bottom edge of the flag (bottom in the way it was photographed for pic # 1). Those stains are impossible to notice on pic # 1, but we posted a close-up, with a ruler, so you can see their size: see pic # 11.
Also on the bottom area, there are 4 other brown stains of, seemingly, the same origin, but much smaller: check pics # 12, 13 and 14.
There is one small hole on the blue near the label, see pic # 6.
We found no other flaws. This item has no odors.
Please notice some loops of fabric were sewn by previous owners to the edges of the flag: it seems to us they were used to hang the flat horizontally, but we are not sure. Those loops can be easily removed by the next owners, if they decided to do so.
The flag was made by Valley Forge Flag Co. of Spring City, PA, under their brand, or model name "Best". It is 100% cotton-bunting.
The stars are patches, machine sewn to the blue cotton.
The stripes are 4 1/2" wide.
