I’ve purchased this item back in 1990’s from AAFES in Turkey which is military shopping place for US military members and their families. My husband may used it a few times only. It’s in excellent shape . The board got lost between traveling to different locations in the world. This auction only includes the players / chess pieces nothing else. Not sure what type of metal is but I remember crystals being real crystals maybe even Swarovski crystals. It’s quite heavy set. I remember paying a lot for the set , it was around $1000 .
