This is a 2 3/8 inch tall frosted glass figure of a dog that is a small ink well. It is hinged at the neck with a brass collar that snaps shut smoothly. The age and maker are unknown.
The inkwell comes with a black glass base pen rest that is 2 1/2 by 3 1/4 inches in size. The inkwell sits on the base, but it is not attached. There is a small chip on the right front corner of the black glass base (as pictured).
