Presented here is a gorgeous and unusual vintage Fred Harvey era sterling silver and agate ring.  The design features a large elongated oval shape agate stone with shades of light to dark gray, with a bit of red, as well.  The stone is bezel set in a frame decorated with twisted wire and beaded details.  The top of the ring is mounted atop a split shank embellished with stamped details.  The inside of the ring is stamped "Sterling", but has no maker's mark.  This piece weighs 12.7 grams, and is currently a size 7 1/4, but can be sized up or down by a jeweler.  The condition is pristine, and with its softly shaded stone and pretty details, this beautiful and dramatic ring will be a g0-to jewelry accessory in anyone's wardrobe.
