Condition: Our photographs reveal the condition best -- please enlarge and zoom in on them, and examine them carefully. All pieces are very fresh and clean, with nothing sticky or otherwise gross, and no funky odors of any type. No writing, highlighting or staining to any of the pieces, inside or out. The slipcase is in rough shape, with tears and separations at nearly every edge. It is still holding together, but will need considerable care to remain so. The books have been read, so their pages lay flat when the book is opened, and their spines are a bit loose. Not terribly so, and not separated, just a bit loose. See photos of interior front and back end pages for more info. This set is perfect for the beginning collector who would like good, solid reading copies of two masterpieces of English Lit.

We consider funky odors (cigarette smoke, mildew, etc) to be an important part of a condition report. Corndogcache is a 100% non-smoking environment, and we'll let you know if any of our vintage items smell like it (or anything else) from activities they may have been involved in before they came to us.
