Vintage Pink Glass Nesting Hen Chicken On Handled Basket Covered Candy/Nut/Trinket Dish 

Depression style, pink colored glass. Very nicely detailed,featuring an embossed molded hen chicken as the cover/lid. It rests atop a handled basket bottom half, with a woven, wicker basket design.

Marked on the bottom of the top half, with a capital "W" overlapping a capital "G". 

Possibly made by Westmoreland.

VERY GOOD CONDITION ~ No nicks, chips, cracks, flea bites, or damage. Some typical strawmarks/mold lines from the manufacturing process may be found, and a few rough specks from excess glass in the mold may be found along the mold seams. 

Measures approx. 5" H x 5 1/8" W x 5" D.

Weighs 1 lb prior to packaging.

Would be a great addition to your country decor or collection, as well as a very nice gift idea for the chicken lover.
