For sale today are 2 polished and cleared antique mechanical trunk locks with a July 1872 patent date. They could be as much as 152 years old! The price for the pair is 29.95 They both will still work. I am getting out of the trunk restoration business and these are left over inventory.
The locks are 1 7/8 high, 1 7/8 wide and 1/6 thick. The catch is 2 1/16 high and 3/4 wide.
