Terrific-condition, fairly rare Nelson Pass Aleph power amp.

Re-capped by a hifi forum-owner in 2021. 

It does combine with a pre to give a great sound, but it takes some gain to sound great, in my opinion.  I don't like music loud, - not as loud as Mr average,  & through my speakers the Aleph was better louder,  than I liked.

I don't know enough technically to express it better,  but it scratched 'an old-school Class A'  itch, but sadly it doesn't match with my speakers/room.

It does get hot, but not as much as I expected. It's not a 'room-heater'.

It's in fabulous condition & the rugged looks are superb, to my eyes anyway.
