FASHIONED OF A BLACK FLORAL COTTON BROCADE AND IS FULLY BONED THROUGHOUT, FULL BUST CUPS AT THE TOP WITH ROWS OF THICK STITCHED PIPING OVER THE BUST.
HOOK AND BALL CLOSURE IN THE FRONT WITH THE REAR IN METAL GROMMET HOLES FOR LACING CLOSED.
THE INTERIOR HAS THE S CURVE COTTON TAPE AT THE CENTER WITH THE ITALIAN LABEL AT THE SIDE AND BOTTOM IS THICK AND REINFORCED WITH A THICK COTTON WEAVE.
CONDITION: SOLD AS IT WAS ACQUIRED. THE LACING IS NOT ORIGINAL.
REPAIRS RUNNING ALONG THE HOOK AND BALL CLOSURE FROM TOP TO BOTTOM WITH A SMALL POINT OF WEAR SEEN ON EACH CORNER OF THE BOTTOM FRONT. BUST CUPS WERE ORIGINALLY TOPPED IN BRAID AND I PERSONALLY WOULD ADD A BRAIDING TO THE ENTIRE TOP AND POSSIBLY REBIND THE TOP FIRST AS BLACK COTTON WAS USED AS BINDING REPAIRS.
FRAYS ALONG THE REAR BUSK ARE SEEN WITH SOME OPENINGS MAKING THE BONING VISIBLE, NOTE THE IMAGES. OUTER FEATHER STITCH DETAILING SHOWS ABSENCES. COULD BE RESTORED.
