This is our "Resting Ponycorn" figurine, test painted by one of our production painters, Gina, in a color scheme she calls "Brimstone".
This figurine was individually painted in our studio. Photos are of the actual item. Please examine them and read the description before bidding. All pieces are sold "as is," the way they appear in the photos and cannot be customized.
This unicorn is airbrushed in red on its body with a gold/silver colorshift dusted in places. Its mane and tail are done in a gradient from gold to red. It has gold hooves, metallic lite orange glass eyes, a black painted pewter horn, a jet black colored jewel set in its gold painted tail clasp, and a glossy finish.
Gina has signed this unicorn on its felt pad and marked it as "Brimstone Test Paint #1". This piece will come with a Certificate of Authenticity. This unicorn and its Certificate of Authenticity will not be signed by Melody Peña.
Like with all of our test painted pieces, it is possible that we will paint more of these unicorns in a color similar to this as production or limited production pieces in the future. This is a cast gypsum reproduction of M. Peña’s original sculpture produced by Windstone Editions, Corvallis, Oregon, U.S.A. (previously located in North Hollywood, California). It is for indoor use only.
This sculpture measures approximately 6 inches long.
