This typical hotel is based on the famous Criterion Hotel in the South Australian Flinders Ranges.
This is the most highly detailed model in our entire collection. The walls are finished in a slightly weathered cream Stucco and the corrugated iron main roof is slightly weathered mid grey. The verandah roof is weathered and slightly rusty. Paintwork trim is mid beige and the chimney stacks are pale cream.
Negative relief items include all windows and doors. Positive relief items include door and window surrounds, roof capping, verandah lacework, foundation footings and an assortment of old beer, wine and spirit signs. (These signs are optional but certainly add character to the finished model.)
The first floor double doors on the front facade have ornate stained glass window panels and each window has different curtains and blinds. This adds a lot of interest to the overall look of the building. The rear wall of the building is finished in an aged clinker brick.
This model is available as “The Criterion Hotel”. However, we can supply a front fascia emblazoned with a unique hotel name of your choice for an extra artwork fee.

Windows, doors and other openings are standard in negative relief. Fascias, eaves and Quoins, window surrounds, vents, steps and window sills are in positive or negative relief where applicable.
All models have corrugated iron roofs with either quarry stone, clinker brick, Stucco, iron or weatherboard walls. Detailed plans for loading ramps, access steps etc are included at no charge.

This is a card building kit that requires assembly. This product is not recommended for children under the age of 14. All figures, vehicles, trains, or other scenery appearing in the images are not included unless specified.
This product is a miniature scale model (1:87) for use with model railroads and dioramas.
