This is a Datamax thermal label printer and long time users of these printers know how well they were built and how heavy duty they are. I bought this printer as a backup to a working Prodigy Plus I had for my business and this was brand new in the box that I found right here on EBAY around 2010.
If you have software and cables to hook this up it will work right out of the box like a brand new printer. I only used it to test as a backup. I maybe printed 50 labels on it. It is spotless and all orginal.
I also am including the Prodigy Plus Font Rom Module 899514 for free. It gives better defined fonts. I cannot test this but it plugs into the slot near the print head right where the Prodigy Plus plugged in. Hope it works as well and I believe it will.
I haven't touched this for 12 years. I know all worked well. Except for shipping to and back I would refund sale price. It is wasting space and someone can use this. It will work great and is as I describe. Full confidence this will be plug and play if you already have one that is worn out or damaged.
