Description Antique brass Brunton compass with wooden box gift item  Here is very nice vintage brass Brinton Compass.   It does work and it's in good shape.    It is well marked.    I don't know anything else about it.   I bought it at an estate auction along with some other historical items.    I know (now after buying it) that there are reproductions out there.   I'm not sure if this is original, an older reproduction, or a new reproduction .   Either way, it is still a very nice compass in great shape.    Please look at pics and judge for yourself.
