English BATTERSEA FIGURAL APPLE Enameled Hinged Snuff Box Patch Box.  This wonderful snuff box is an early Battersea enameled example made with a figure of an apple with pretty colors.  Because of the fact that this dates to the 18th century, this also could be a patch box. During the 18th century some royalty and the upper class would often wear decorative patches on their cheeks. This has a price sticker on the inside with a price of $1250 for a pair!
