EMILE BARAN 3/4 Violin, Vintage 1974
Model #100, Very Good, Connoisseur Selected
This Emile Baran violin is 50 years
old and very collectable. It is a 3/4 size in excellent playing condition, and
it is a superior sounding instrument with good projection, robust character,
and a sweet high-end tone. The model 100 was produced in 1974, and this
instrument is a fine example of the European custom-made craftsmanship of that
era. It exemplifies the dedication, and
meticulousness of the luthier, which is apparent in the details built into this
precision instrument.
It is perfect for both advancing
violinists and pro musicians, and it would be a fine addition to your music
studio collection.
It has recently been carefully
examined and set up by a professional stringed instrument luthier, so it is
ready to play upon arrival. A newer case, a good bow, two rosins, an upscale
shoulder rest, and a specially contoured chin rest are included.
There are a few repairs to the
violin’s top edges, some finish touch-up to a few nick and scratches, and the
normal professional wear you would expect on a vintage violin.
