Large (roughly 12x15"), 1873 luxury edition of El Enamorado de la Reina ("The Queen's Lover"), evidently translated (from French?) to Spanish by the Overseas Mail Administration in Paris. Written by Challard (= Charles Dallard). Appears to be leather binding with gilded pages. 67 illustrations. It was hard to find much about this book, but from what I can gather, it's a comedic opera about...the queen's lover. There are some rough edges as noted in the condition description and visible in the photos, but it's a neat antique book. I couldn't find another copy listed sold/for sale and there is only one copy listed on Worldcat, so also quite scarce.
