Belgium 1897 Autograph letter from Prince Albert, King ABERT 1er in 1909.

Prince Albert (1875-1934) ascended the throne as King ALBERT I in 1909. History remembers Albert I " Le Roi Chevalier" in a more positive light. He led Belgium's heroic resistance to German invasion in 1914, giving British and French forces crucial time to prepare their ultimately successful defense of French soil.

Dated 1897 during his military training, this handwritten letter, signed by Prince Albert, future King of the Belgians, is accompanied by its original service envelope stamped at his personal coat of arms

Certified authentic, this letter and its envelope are not copies.
