An extremely unique (and maybe one of a kind set) matching pair of 17” tall medieval cast iron finial spikes with flange bases that are in a broadaxe shape or form. Heavy weighing approx. 6 ½ lb. apiece and iron is ¼” thick!! The round opening in bottom as shown is 1” in diameter and 2 ¾” deep for attachment to a post or whatever.  Both original set screws for tightening to post or ? still there but look to have been painted over a few times and will need loosening to be used. NO cracks, breaks or missing sections. Black paint has some chips in a few areas as seen with nothing deep and almost no rust showing anywhere.
