This antique statue is a beautiful and intricately carved piece made of camphor wood, originating from China during the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911). It features the spiritual figure of Guanyin / Kwan-yin or Buddha sitting on her hand carved Lotus throne. Guan Yin is hand painted with gold gilt & multi-color accents & she has a lovely beaded necklace/bracelets with tassel around her right arm. This piece is an original antique from the 19th century, specifically from 1850-1899 . The craftsmanship of this Buddha statue is truly remarkable, with its delicate details and stunning colors.
