Ww2 soldbuch of Karl bohmer

Born in 1913 in andernach Germany

His early war seemed to be part of the occupation force in France as part of the 263rd infantry division

He then was involved in operation Barbarossa in Russia

Karl was wounded by shrapnel and remained away from the front line until May 1942 , we move forward to 1944 when he was transferred to fusilier regt 771 and late in 1944 he was moved to the 343rd grenadier regt for the defence of Aachen

Karl was wounded once again on New Year’s Day 1945 by bullet wound and that looks to be the end of Karl’s war
